2. What you are buying
Everything sold in this shop is a digital product. Nothing is posted to you. When you buy a preset pack you receive a download link by email containing the preset files and an installation guide.
You are buying a licence to use the presets. You do not become the owner of them, and copyright stays with Adri Krige Photography.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in South African rand and include VAT where applicable. The price you see at checkout is the full price — there are no delivery charges, because there is nothing to deliver physically.
Payment methods available at checkout are shown on the checkout page. Your order is only confirmed once payment has cleared.
4. Delivery
Your download link is sent to the email address you give at checkout, normally within a few minutes of payment clearing. If you pay by EFT, the link is sent once the money reflects in the account, which can take one to two working days.
Please check your spam or promotions folder before contacting me. If your link has not arrived within 24 hours of payment clearing, email me and I will send it again.
5. Refunds and your cooling-off rights
South African law gives online shoppers a seven-day cooling-off period under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. However, section 42(2) of that Act specifically excludes computer software and audio or video recordings once they have been unsealed by the consumer.
Because preset files are delivered instantly and cannot be returned once downloaded, downloaded preset packs are not refundable. This is stated here, before you buy, so that you can make an informed decision.
You will always get a refund if:
- you paid but never received your download link, and I cannot get it to you
- the files are corrupted or will not install, and I cannot resolve it with you
- you were charged twice for the same order
Refunds are paid back to the original payment method within 30 days.
Presets are a creative tool, not a guaranteed result. Every camera, every light and every raw file is different, and presets are a starting point that you adjust to suit your own image. Not liking the look on your own photos is not a fault, and is not grounds for a refund — which is why sample images and honest before-and-afters are shown on every product page. Please look at them carefully before buying.
6. How you may use the presets
You may:
- use the presets on your own photographs, including photographs you are paid to take
- use them for as many clients and as many images as you like
- install them on your own devices — desktop, laptop and mobile
You may not:
- share, send, copy, resell or give away the preset files
- include them in another product, bundle or course
- claim them as your own creation
The licence is for one photographer or one business. If your studio has several editors who need them, please buy a copy for each.
7. Support
If a preset will not install or something is not working, email me at info@adrikrigephotography.co.za and tell me which version of Lightroom you are using. I will help you get it working.
8. Your personal information
To process your order I collect your name, email address and billing details. I use them to send you your files, keep a record of the sale as required by law, and answer you if you contact me. I do not sell or share your details with anyone else, and I handle them in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act.
Card payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. Your card details are handled by them and never reach this website.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in place on the day you place your order is the one that applies to your purchase.
