Sandy feet, salty hair, children running ahead into the waves, the quiet walk back as the light turns gold. Months later, those are the moments you will wish you had photographed.
I am Adri, a photographer living in St Francis Bay. Over the December and Easter holidays I photograph families and couples who are here on holiday. You do not need to plan anything or know how to pose. Bring the people you love, and I will guide you gently while leaving room for real moments.

Along the Kouga coast
St Francis Bay and Cape St Francis: wide beaches, soft dunes, the canals and Seal Point lighthouse. Here are my favourite photo spots in St Francis Bay.
Jeffreys Bay: golden sand at Dolphin Beach, Kabeljous and the famous point breaks.
Oyster Bay: quiet, open dunes when you want the beach to yourselves.
Tsitsikamma: forest and river light if you are travelling on along the Garden Route.

We choose the light
In December, golden hour starts at about 18:00. Early mornings are lovely and calmer too.
Arrive as you are
I guide you gently. Your gallery arrives within 30 days. Travel within my free-travel area is included; further afield it is R6.50 per km.

Holiday photoshoot questions
How far ahead should I book a holiday photoshoot?
As soon as you know your holiday dates. December and early January evenings are the first to fill, because I photograph only one family per golden hour.
What is the best time of day for a beach photoshoot?
The hour before sunset gives soft, golden light and warmer sand. Early morning is also beautiful, calmer and good for little ones who tire by evening.
What if the wind or weather is bad on the day?
The coast can be windy. If the weather will not allow a relaxed session, we move to another evening during your stay.
What should we wear for beach photos?
Soft, natural colours in two or three shades that sit well together, such as white, cream, sand, sage or dusty blue. Bare feet are perfect on the beach. My guide on what to wear for beach family photos has more ideas.
