Description
Warm, radiant and timeless — my signature golden hour Lightroom preset
Beach Golden Hour is the first preset from my Signature Collection. It is the edit behind my beach and sunset work: soft lifted tones, gentle contrast, and skin that stays natural instead of going orange. The look I reach for when the sun drops low and the light turns to honey.
What you get:
- Beach Golden Hour 01 — Signature, one preset as a .xmp file
- A step-by-step install guide as a PDF, for Lightroom Classic, desktop and mobile
Works with:
- Lightroom Classic — version 14 or newer
- Lightroom Desktop — version 8 or newer
- Lightroom Mobile — syncs to your phone
- Camera Raw — version 17 or newer
- Adobe Bridge — with Camera Raw 17 or newer
It uses colour tools that older versions do not support, so please check your version before buying. Works on raw files and JPEGs, though raw gives you more room to adjust.
How to use it: apply the preset, then nudge exposure and white balance to suit your frame. A preset is a starting point, not a filter — every camera and every sunset is different, and that last small adjustment is what makes the image yours.
Who this golden hour Lightroom preset suits
You do not need to be a professional to use it. It was made for late-afternoon and sunset light — beach sessions, couples on the rocks, families on the sand, golden fields in the last hour of the day. If you photograph your own people and you love a warm, gentle, timeless look, this preset will carry you most of the way there in a single click.
It is kind to skin, and that is the thing I cared about most while I built it: warmth in the light without the orange that so many sunset presets leave behind. It is forgiving too, on the slightly-too-bright frames we all come home with.
